Stephen Beukes
Stephen takes great pleasure in seeing individuals in an ‘I-can-do’ position where they are able to take on the complex challenges of life.
His particular specialisation is supporting professionals to be clear about the contribution they wish to make in the world and to confidently take on the challenging conversations that enable them to achieve their aspirations. This includes young emerging leaders, entrepreneurs and established professionals making career shifts.
His clients have said that working with Stephen was “life changing” and an “excellent investment in moving forward”. They have used some of the following phrases to describe what was different for them after coaching conversations with Stephen:
- “My ability to notice myself”.
- “… clarified what I needed to focus on to achieve my goals”.
- “Confident in my ability to take care of what’s important to me”.
- “No longer let people walk over me”.
- “ … communication skills have improved dramatically”.
- “… have a sense of contributing constructively”.
With a Bachelor of Business Science degree (UCT) majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Psychology, Stephen began his working life as a labour relations practitioner developing key skills in supporting executive decision making and facilitating the resolution of workplace conflict. Having run a consulting practice and served in a range of leadership roles since then, he has a good sense of the challenges that face those seeking to lead sustainable businesses.
Stephen has completed the 18-month Graduate Diploma of Ontological Coaching offered by the Ontological Coaching Institute in Australia and is a Professional Credentialed Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
